childbearing women and their families within the community to provide a unified message in protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding within Waukesha County.

Advisory: The Advisory Committee provides experience and strategic planning assistance to the Executive Board and continues to drive the mission and vision of the Coalition.

Advocacy: Responsibilities of this committee include outreach to the community, develop legislative relationships, educating local businesses on breastfeeding initiatives and implementing the Lactation Space Guide - just to name a few!

Events: Among other responsibilities, this committee encourages medical providers to offer in-house lactation services, supports current lactation specialists in the County, plan a National Breastfeeding Celebration event, as well as participate in other community tabling events.

Outreach: This committee runs the Facebook page and also promotes the mission and vision of the Coalition within the community.
